This lovely girl has a great attitude and represents a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for a future partner under saddle who would be capable of attaining exciting results as a future eventing prospect with a lot of glamour!

A little about the breeding

Kitty Malone is sired by the remarkable stallion Ramiro B. He competed at 1.60m level showjumping himself and has sired many outstanding offspring to date who have succeeded in both the eventing and showjumping field. These have included 5* winner Cooley Master Class and Badminton Runner up Cooley SRS among a multitude of top performance and performing progeny including Nations Cup level 1.60 show jumpers and 5* eventers.

he was the first horse to be made an ambassador with the BWP studbook due to his phenomenal breeding record. With multiple progeny competing at 4* and 5* level, Ramiro B is undoubtedly a proven sire of top level event horses as well as showjumpers.

Ramiro B has ranked as high as 2nd in the WBFSH rankings. He is No. 3 on the top sires in 2018 based on BE points.

Bred in Belgium and produced in Ireland, he won up to International Grand Prix level with Irish show jumper Edward Doyle. Ramiro B was noted for his consistency in technique, rideability and scope. Known to stamp his stock very well, his attributes are seen in his offspring.

By Calvani, a son of Caretino, one of Germany’s top sires of all time, Ramiro B passes his jumping ability, movement and temperament on to his progeny.

Her sire, Black Sam Bellamy is the full brother of Galileo and half brother to Sea the Stars and who tasted success as a sire both on the Flat and over jumps.

Black Sam Bellamy, the full brother of Galileo was a stallion who tasted success as a sire both on the Flat and over jumps as well as siring multiple eventers in his latter years.

Black Sam Bellamy was a prominent British Jumps stallion, who, as well as being himself winner of the 10 furlong Tattersalls Gold Cup (G1) by 8 lengths and the Gran Premio del Jockey Club (G1) over 1½ miles, Black Sam Bellamy possessed probably the finest pedigree of any NH stallion in the world, being by the 14-time Champion Flat Sire, Sadler’s Wells, out of the Prix de ’Arc de Triomphe (G1) winner and legendary broodmare, Urban Sea (by Miswaki -a stakes-winning son of the leading sire in North America, Mr. Prospector. ).

Black Sam was a full-brother to the world’s leading active sire, Galileo, and half-brother to the outstanding racehorse and increasingly important stallion, Sea The Stars, both Derby and King George VI & Queen Elizabeth S winners.

His dam can realistically lay claim to being by far the most influential matriarch in the history of the Thoroughbred. Her sons [Galileo, Black Sam Bellamy, and Sea The Stars] have already produced Group 1 winners, and Galileo and Sea The Stars have produced major classic winners. Two of her grandsons [Galileo’s sons New Approach and Teofilo] have produced classic winners and three of her daughters have produced stakes winners.

“Black Sam was particularly suited to the production of high-class staying horses, as he consistently transmitted the important qualities of stamina, toughness and determination. “He had an excellent temperament and was always a lovely horse to deal with.

This is a really lovely foal.  She is very pretty to look at and has a really super, strong conformation.

Moondust is an athletic filly with nice paces and a strong frame.  She will make a super allrounder and be suitable for dressage, eventing or jumping.  She is a lovely curious girl with a gentle and genuinely kind nature and I believe that she will make a really lovely horse under saddle for someone wanting a sensible, talented ridden prospect with potential and a great temperament.

She is a flashy looking foal and maternal sister to two Licensed stallions.

A little about the breeding

Her dam is out of a Graded and very rare pure bred Kinsky warmblood mare. The Kinsky's are renowned for their great natures and ability to turn a hoof to virtually any discipline. Throughout their history this is a breed who has excelled in all sport from Steeplechasing (this was a breed that dominated the famed Grand Pardubice ('the Devils race' in the now Czech Republic. This was a death defying race notorious for its vast obstacles and stamina sapping ploughed fields.

The Kinsky horse's versatility has seen them compete with great success in the fields of showjumping, dressage, endurance, carriage driving and eventing. They are the ultimate all rounder. In addition to their famed versatility, huge hearts and talent under saddle, these rare horses have coats that positively shimmer with an ethereal looking 'metallic' sheen to them. This is thought to come from an infusion of the Akhal Teke and Russian Budyonny bloodlines thought to be used developing the breed. Pepper has this incredible sheen and has produced foals who have shared this miraculous looking coat of glittering golden hues.

Pepper has a fantastic nature and I have no doubt if we had ever put her under saddle she would have proven equally as impressive in her multitude of talents as her ancestors. However as a very accident prone young horse and one who arrived with us as a foal in a very bad way, she has become a very special member of the family, with her gentle and generous disposition and producing beautiful foals with her glorious nature and instantly adored by all who meet her.

GFS Fire and Ice is a uniquely coloured warmblood AES Graded and Licensed stallion with an exceptionally interesting pedigree that combines both rare Danish Knabstrupper, the hghly prized Czech Kinsky Warmblood with top performance thoroughbred and the versatile and top temperament of the Irish Connemara.

Ice's dam is a big moving and very powerful mare, retired from Eventing due misfortune. She had been progressing very well until injury! She has proven however to be the most amazing broodmare and has previously bred two Premium Graded foals.

Folly is by the leading sire of event horses Rock King. Himself the sire of the Olympic eventer Rock Model. He also sired four competitors at the 2008 CCI **** at Luhmuhlen.

As with all of GFS Fire and Ice's offspring, he has a golden temperament.  We feel that he would be well suited as a potential show jumper or eventer.

May Bellini his Hanoverian dam is by the outstanding International Grand Prix show jumping stallion Monte Bellini. Standing at 17hh.  she competed to Novice BE with 52 foundation points, won at BD Elementary and had BS winnings before  retiring due to injury.

A little about the breeding

This glorious colt foal was born with it all.  Incredibly good looking, well constructed and with movement that is above average as well as absolutely outstanding in all paces.  His temperament is absolutely faultless and he has a charming character, demonstrating a natural friendliness, relaxed attitude, and keen intelligence coupled with an innate willingness to please.

He was born very much with eventing in mind but due to a catastrophic eye injury and subsequent removal of his right eye, he will be more suited to dressage or less ambitious riding club activities.  Although, there are currently a number of horses competing at GP show jumping level with a similar disability!

'Nelson' as he is otherwise known as has adapted incredibly well and to see him galloping about the paddocks, nobody would know that he has the vision in only one eye!

He and His dam, Sahara is by the golden palomino Grand Prix stallion Treliver Decanter (Dimaggio/Grand Ferdel). He has offspring competing PSG/Inter1, 1.40m showjumpers and CIC2*/CCI2* eventers. Decanter's sire Dimaggio competed PSG/Inter1 and produced over 30 GP horses, CCI4* eventers, and over 73 approved sons.

She is out of am Elite Graded SH(GB) mare by the Saddlers Wells bred stallion Accondy and out of the GP dressage stallion World Cup.

Accondy was placed in two out of his three starts, sired numerous National Hunt winners and became a sport horse sire of importance, joining the HIS Premium scheme in 1997, when he was the reserve for the Macdonald-Buchanan Trophy for the best new young stallion. The same year he stood Champion at the British Hanoverian Horse Society grading, attracting offers from the German assessors. He became a Super Premium stallion 1n 1998 and was twice awarded the Henry Tudor Cup and he was champion Thoroughbred at the Royal Dublin in 2001.

Sahara's sire Treliver Decanter was by Dimaggio. He has been the most influential dressage sire standing in Britain in the past decade. Dimaggio rose to fame when he was World Young Horse Champion as a five-year-old in 2000; the first British-owned horse to claim the title. Nicarado's sire is the outstanding and remarkable Diarado is number one for the world ranking stallions for eventing and eleven for show jumping!

Diarado is one of the most popular, and highest-ranked, stallions in Germany, and he impresses with exemplary ease at the jump, with superior scope, a willingness to perform that is second to none, manoeuvrability and intelligence; attributes that are necessary for today’s technical courses. Diarado is not only popular as a sire of show jumpers, but also as a sire of eventers; he always passes on his beautiful and correct type and conformation, which is so important for long-term soundness and durability. He was in sixth place on the 2017 BE Sire Rankings for 4-8 year-old offspring.

His sire, Diamant de Semilly topped the WBFSH Sire Rankings for the second time in 2016, having been inside the top ten since 2012. During his career, he was French national champion and WEG team gold medallist in 2002, and European team silver medallist in 2003. His offspring include Quickly Du Kreisker (FEI World Number One 2015), Don VHP Z (winner of the Rome GCT), Utamaro D’Ecaussines (member of British Nations Cup squad), Hello Guv'nor (winner Aachen 2016), and Helidor Hybris, who jumped national grand prix as a 7-year-old. Diamant de Semilly is known for his outstanding power, suppleness and balance.

His dam's combined pedigree includes Corrado I, Contender, Lord and Ramiro; four absolutely top sires in one line. Corrado I alone, internationally successful with Franke Sloothaak, has a progeny lifetime earnings sum of €3.8million, while Contender's record is at €10.3million.

His offspring are marked by their beautiful, correct conformation, with excellent rideability, strong movement and with a lot of scope; they are much sought-after at numerous auctions. To date, more than 50 sons are licensed, among them numerous premium sires including Diarado's Boy, De Quidam, Don Diarado and Dicontinus.

Her dam sire, Corland is from the famous Holsteiner Line 104A, which goes directly back to Retsina, a two-time winner of the Hamburg Derby.

Corland had an impressive career under W.J. van der Schans. At the European Championship, Corland proved to all that he belongs in the category ‘the best in the world’. In Nation’s Cup series, he won both qualifiers and had the best results of the Nation’s competition clocking the fastest clear round. In the finals, he was 9th. Additionally, there were the following results: 2nd GP Rotterdam, 4th GP’s Oslo and Den Bosch, 5th GP’s Bordeaux and Maastricht, 6th GP Helsinki, 7th GP’s Zuidlaren, La Baule and Calgary.

He also was Champion of the Benelux in The Hague, 7th in the World Cup of Verona and 2nd in ‘The Sires of the World’ in Lanaken.

Her dam was out of a Caretino Glory mare whose back pedigree is packed with the key names in jumping breeding – Cor De La Bryere, Ramiro, Gotthard. Further investigation of his pedigree goes some way to explaining why he passes on both quality and better than average movement.

His sire Cheenook was trained to Grand Prix level dressage, and was known for his flamboyant movement despite his Holstein jumping pedigree. In Germany alone he has 56 offspring competing at S level show jumping and 16 at S level dressage. Cheenook’s full sisters produced the decent show jumpers Cocu who represented the USA at the World Equestrian Games and Carino who also competed at 5* level.

Conthalou made an ideal start as a sire with a magnificent first crop of foals, producing the top price of the Oldenburg auction in Vechta, Connery, who was sold for 33,000 Euros. For his outstanding offspring, he was named the main premium winner at the Oldenburg Stallion Days.

After his acclaimed victory at the licensing of the Oldenburg Show Jumping Breeding Association (OS), Conthalou completed his 50-day test in Adelheidsdorf with expected highlights for his jumping manner (9.0), scope (9.0), willingness to perform (9.5), rideability (9.0), temperament (9.25) and overall impression (9.0). With a total score of 8.86, he was only narrowly beaten in the strong field of 35 candidates and finished as second Reserve Champion of his stallion performance test.

The dam's sire Conthargos, who also stands at our stud, produces numerous top horses, including the international competition winner Conchento PS/Luciana Diniz/POR, Easy Girl/Santiago Lambre/BRA, Connecticut/Matthew Sampson/GBR, Cocolina/Natalie Dean/USA, Cosa Nostra/Jeroen Dubbeldam/NED and Conthinder/Andrzej Oplatek/POL, to only name a few. Almost 20 of his sons have been licensed, including our OS Champion Stallion and main premium winner Conthalou PS and the internationally successful Continental Blue.

His dam Belinda is internationally successful in 1.45m show jumping competitions.

His grand-dam Chaccos-Lüd is the half sister of an OS Premium Stallion by Los Angeles and the full sister of the two premium stallions Chacco’s Son I and II (both by Chacco-Blue). Chacco's Son I was part of the winning German Nations Cup teams at the CHIO in Aachen in 2018 and 2019 with Maurice Tebbel, was part of the fifth-placed European Championships team in Gothenburg/SWE and was highly placed in the Grand Prix of Rome/ITA, Hamburg/GER and La Baule/FRA. Chacco’s Son II was the Oldenburg main premium winner in 2015, was placed in the final of the German Championships and has since been placed in international competitions. Chacco's-Lüd produced Corydon van T&L (by Cornado NRW)/Frederic Vernaet/BEL, OS Reserve Champion and successful in 1.40m show jumping competitions, and the stallion For Chacco TN (by For Pleasure), who was placed in the international Youngster Tour.

Our performance stallions Balou du Rouet and Chacco-Blue appear in the previous generations and secure Conthalou’s pedigree in the best way.

Balou du Rouet, himself successful in advanced level show jumping competitions, sired Baloutinue/Laura Kraut/USA, Olympic team silver medallist, Bianca/Steve Guerdat/SUI, bronze medallist at the World and European Championships and eighth in the World Cup, Saura de Fondcombe/Nadja Peter Steiner/SUI, team third at the European Championships, as well as Corouet/Sarah Bullimore/GBR, individual bronze medallist at the European Eventing Championships. He is not only by far the most successful son of his famous sire, the Olympic champion and three-time World Cup winner Baloubet du Rouet, but also appears, once again, amongst the top 15 and top 12 of the world's best show jumping and eventing sires respectively, according to the WBFSH ranking.

Chacco-Blue was third in the Grand Prix in Aachen, won the Grand Prix in Neumünster and has led the WBFSH ranking since 2017. From a breeding perspective, the elite stallion produced Explosion W/Ben Maher/GBR, Olympic Champion, individual silver and team bronze medallist at the European Championships and Global Champions Tour winner, Chanyon/Daisuke Fukushima/JPN, placed sixth at the Olympics, Chaqui Z/Shane Sweetnam/IRL, European Team Champion, and Chacon/Eoin McMahon/IRL, placed second in the Nations Cup final, amongst others. Chacco-Blue produced the most offspring at almost all championships, for example eight at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon/USA. Around 55 of his sons have been licensed.

The licensed stallions Power Light/Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst, Cessna, Durex and Amantino as well as the sport horses Whoopy/Jan Sprehe/GER, Mya Mercedes/Stefan Engbers/GER, Let’s Fly/Erik Kunze/GER and Baldobes/Roberto Prevital/ITA descend from this line.

A little about the breeding

GFS Illuminatii is our youngest home bred stallion and having proven himself a sire of potentially exceptional foals in 2023, he has again been given the opportunity to prove himself once again in 2024!

His sire is also a home bred, we produced his sire to Novice eventing. His dam was a Premium Graded Holsteiner mare and ex show jumper with placings German Kl.L + Kl.M and her breeding was exceptional. She was by Corrado I (Cor de la Bryere/Capitol I x X Landgraf/Caletto)

Corrado combines the blood of the two great Cs – Cor de la Bryère and Capitol. He won the Grand Prix of Leeuwarden in 1993, and were second in the Nations Cup at La Baule. In 1994, Corrado won the World Cup Qualifier at Dortmund and finished third in the Nations Cup at Aachen. He also won the German Championship that year. In 1996, he won the Danish World Cup Qualifier at Aarhus, and the Grand Prix of Neumünster and Kiel. In 1997, Franke and Corrado were third in the Hamburg Grand Prix and fourth in the Grand Prix of Göteborg.

As a sire, Corrado was again, an instant success. His international jumpers were numerous and too many to list; perhaps his most spectacular son is the grey stallion, Clinton, who was individually 4th at the Olympic Games in Athens, and second behind Shutterfly at Aachen in 2005.

Fifteen Corrado sons have been approved for breeding in Holstein and his sons, Corofino I, Coriano, Coronado and Clinton have themselves already produced licensed sons.

By the end of 2006, Corrado I  recorded with 95 progeny who had jumped at an international level.

His maternal G.Grandsires are none other than the legendary Cor de la Bryère and Landgraf.

Described by breeders as a 'gift from heaven', Cor de la Bryère  has had an incredible impact on the Holsteiner breed, occurring in more than 70% of Holsteiner pedigrees, and is credited for improving the breed's jumping technique. He also had a huge impact on the Oldenburg breed.

‘Landgraf dominated the breeding scene in Schleswig-Holstein for over ten years. The success of his offspring both in terms of breeding and sport performance led to the demand for the stallion becoming almost insatiable.

Nearly sixty colts by Landgraf I have been licensed for the Holsteiner studbook.

Illuminati's dam, It's Magic was a remarkable mare of both quality and talent. Graded into the Westfalian Head Stud Book, she is by Hogwart the International Grand Prix showjumping stallion and Westfalian Stallion Champion (Concorde/Voltaire/Nimmerdor) This is a stallion of such quality that he is Licensed into the Belgium Warmblood, Holsteiner, KWPN, NRPS (Dutch) and Westfalian Studbooks. She was out of a Cassini/Caletto mare whose pedigree is steeped in International showjumpers.

Magic was something of a dream mare to own.  Aside from her obvious talent, incredible movement and rare beauty, she had the greatest attitude and most generous nature imaginable. This is something that is a common theme throughout Illuminati's pedigree. Having owned or bred many generations of this young stallions parentage, I know them to be of faultless temperament, unquestionable rideabilty and horses who have the talent and attitude to be exceptional in every way.

Before her retirement due to injury and sadly prior to actually fulfilling her huge potential in competition, she jumped successfully to 1.20, with wins  to BSJA Foxhunter and Notational winnings of £1153 (There are video's of her competing on our Broodmare Page.

Her paternal G.Sire Concorde was solidly bred to jump on both sides. Aside from his sire, Voltaire, his dam, Flyer, was by the legendary Marco Polo.

Concorde was an international jumper with Jos Lansink. They won the Grand Prix of Nordrhein-Westfalen at Aachen and they were Champion of the Netherlands in 1994. For three years in a row, Concorde was the sire with the most offspring at the World Breeding Championships for Young Jumping Horses. In the year 2001 alone, Concorde produced 17 jumpers who entered Grand Prix ranks.

t's Magic's maternal G.Sires were the International breeding stallion Cassini I and Lord Caletto GZ.

Cassini was one of the most successful Holstein stallions of all time, sired by Capitol I out of the mare Wisma who is a daughter of Caletto II,

Lord Caletto was a Life Approved Holstein stallion. His International Sports Stallion status made Lord Calletto gz in a class of his own ! He won his 100 day performance test with 145 points in dressage (1st) and 138 points in jumping (1st)  Lord Caletto is also one of the few stallions to have received Elite status Grading from the AES awarded by Kees Van Den Oetelaar . He was also graded with the swiss fed and the BWBS . Lord Caletto is also on the GOLD BRITISH SHOWJUMPING ELTE REGISTER OF STALLIONS . He won several times over 2,10m and higher, won six-bars at 1,80-1,90-2,00-2,10m

The dam of this exciting foal is also a home bred! She is out of my all time heart horse Wantasia (Indoctro x Corland/Nimmerdor) and by yet another very special AES Graded home bred GFS Lord of the Dance who was by a remarkable Russian Trakehner x Akhal Teke stallion that I imported as a yearling from Estonia and out of a very special mare who produced three Licenced stallions for me. With detail of their breeding on this website, I will give a brief explanation of this young mares superb maternal pedigree;

This Indoctro sired mare is out of a Corland/Nimmerdor Keur awarded KWPN mare, Santasia.

She was retired at the young age of six due to a paddock accident and before her potential could be realised, this beautiful, graceful mare with her powerful, rhythmic, athletic movement, phenomenal jump and faultless temperament has consistently produced foals of exceptional quality and with all of the characteristics that make her so special to us and such a valuable broodmare.

Her bloodlines speak for themselves! Her sire is the amazing Keur Preferent stallion, Indoctro, showjumper and progenitor of highly regarded offspring competing in all three major disciplines, but the sire of over 180 competitive showjumpers. Wantasia's dam is by Corland ( son of the inimitable Cor de la Bryere) out of the showjumping International and important sire of champions, Nimmerdor.

Indoctro is a living legend and is among the world's best sires. His offspring achieve successes at the highest level. At the Olympic Games in 2008, three horses by Indoctro attended: VDL Orestus, Don Porfirio and Picolien Zeldenrust. In Holland he is known as VDL Indoctro, while in Germany, following the Holstein naming custom, he is C-Indoctro. By any name he is one of the world’s most successful jumping sires.

Damline - His dam Vanessa VII also produced two full brothers, C-Indoctro II and the Olympic showjumper, National Guard, ridden by Fahad Al Geaid. Damsire Caletto I is a son of the great Cor De La Bryère, while third sire Calypso was also a foundation Holstein stallion.

Indoctro is the leading sire in the USEF ranking of jumping horses, while in 2016 he is ranked 18th on the WBFSH Sire Rankings.

Wantasia's damsire, Corland is from the famous Holsteiner Line 104A, which goes directly back to Retsina, a two-time winner of the Hamburg Derby.

This colt is such a huge character.  He is bold, brave, inquisitive and such a friendly character.  'Astro' loves all attention and thoroughly enjoys human company and learning new things.  He is incredibly nosy and can always be found in the midst of any activity .

His breeding is absolutely outstanding and coupled with his superb, powerful physique and natural attributes, he will make a very exciting prospect for someone looking for a future show jumper with the providence of champions and the brain of a winner.t Garamond is a classic font with a modern twist. It's easy to read on screens of every shape and size, and perfect for long blocks of text.

A little about the breeding

Olympic Ahorn competed at top International level and consistently placed in World Cups and Grand Prix competitions representing the Netherlands in Nations Cup competitions and was short-listed for the Barcelona Olympics. This earned him the prefix 'Olympic'. Ahorn is descended from one of the famous Holstein Families, no. 242 and is related to Joost, Alcatraz and Locarno. Ahorn's offspring continue the success with a number of progeny competing at International level. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to Dutch Breeding, Ahorn, whose progeny have earned over $1,000,000 in prize money, has been awarded keur status by the KWPN. Ahorn's sire is none other than the world famous preferent stallion Nimmerdor.

Ahorn's dam produced 4 approved stallions and so far 3 international showjumpers. A fantastic producer of broodmares, Ahorn mares are highly valued for their ability to transmit the characteristics of this high-performance jumper (deceased) stallion.

Ahorn's sire Nimmerdor, KWPN Stallion of the Century, was the Netherland's top sire of showjumpers to 1993. He became a Preferant Stallion approved by almost every Sporthorse and Warmblood breed society. He himself was a very Successful International Show-Jumper and sire. Siring over 50 approved sons, numerous competition horses, exceptional broodmares and daughters with great conformation. In breeding has a heredity reliability of 94%.

Ahorn's grand sire Farn, was discovered On a misty morning, 1st November 1962, a NWP committee visited the performance test in Westercelle, Germany.

There was a 3 ½ year old Holstein stallion that met their approval, called Farn.

They hoped that Farn, would sire fine daughters, broodmares that would help upgrade Dutch breeding.

Farn was the sire of many fine filly’s/mares, but also he sired sons & descendants that would continue the Farn dynasty, as well as provide the sport, show jumping in particular, with a large number of potential athletes. He Added his Arabian influence to improve Dutch Breeding. Farn's history runs parallel to the history of the beginning of Dutch riding horse breeding. In the early sixties one had begun to transform the heavy agricultural horse into a type with more riding-horse qualities.

Ark Angel CS is by the incredible Olympic show jumper Arko III and out of a mare who jumped to 1.40 by the incredible Selle Francais Keur stallion Calvados, who competed at 1.60. She had competed to Novice under the name of Double M Tarko with 124 points before being sold to an amateur home a couple of years ago. Her jumping pedigree is impeccable with Grand Prix and 1.60 jumpers featuring on virtually every line of both her dam and sires pedigree. Arko III represented Great Britain at the 2004 Athens Olympics which tops the lengthy list of outstanding International wins including the richest competition in the world, the Calgary CN Grand Prix 2008.

Arko's earning to date are over 1 million pounds and he was number one horse in Europe for three consecutive years. His breeding is impeccable with both dam and sire being of prodigious talent and bred from a long line of incredible performance ancestry and progenitors of the same.

Angels dam sire Calvados was bred from the best French performance bloodlines. Renowned as a leading sire of show jumpers as well as eventers and dressage horses. A Grand Prix show jumper himself, his sire the Selle Francais Uriel was leading French sire for many years with a breeding index of 211 (the highest figure ever in France). Although he was bred on a limited scale, he has numerous international offspring jumping at Grand Prix level.

This is a mare with a very talented family tree and I can honestly say that not only are there some very big names for this foal to live up to, but this is quite possibly one of the two last foals to be born who will be sired by Ahorn whose semen was stored over thirty years ago!!!

04-_2220715_edited.jpg

This beautiful, elegant filly is femininity personified.  She is like a little gazelle with her exquisite head, huge, gentle eyes and impossibly long, strong legs.

Luminata is probably the most graceful foal that we have had born here this year.  Her movement is well above average and her gaits are not only expressive and elastic, but they are ground covering, balanced and showing huge potential for a career that may possibly suit dressage as much as eventing of jumping.

She is a gentle, kind nature filly who behaves beautifully and demonstrates a calm, intelligent attitude to lessons taught.

This lovely girl will suit someone looking for a non complicated, sensible and gentle youngster who has an abundance of talent and a superb outlook.

A little about the breeding

The dam of this foal is Quirilina Z is a Zangersheide mare who has jumped with success at 1.20 on an FEI passport and has a good BSJA record with her previous amateur owner.

She is a big, powerfully built horse with absolutely outstanding movement, balance and speed. She has a superb jumping pedigree and enormous scope over a fence.

This lovely mare has quality in both looks and ability, she has a lovely nature and this she has clearly passed on to her gorgeous colt.i

Her sire Quirifino Z successfully competed for several years at 1.60m with Ben Maher, coming 4th in the Hickstead Derby among numerous other winnings at Grand Prix level, including competing at the Global Champions Tour 2009 & 2010.

He is a very versatile stallion having produced both showjumpers and eventers. He is renowned for passing his laid back nature to his offspring.

Quidam de Revel, Quirifino's sire is one of the most influential breeding stallions of all time. His offspring are highly sought after as they have huge scopey jumps, but remain ultra careful. In 2004 Quidam topped the World Breeding Championships jumping stallion ratings for the second year, establishing him as the pre-eminent (and most expensive) living sire of showjumping horses.

Quirifino's dam sire Grosso Z produced the international jumping star Goldfever and the international dressage stallion Goethe.

Her damsire Lorentin I is a famous Holsteiner dressage stallion which may well explain her phenomenal movement! He competed at Grand Prix level and sired top dressage progeny including L'Acteur and Limocello.

Fleming her dams Holstein grandsire also competed at Grand Prix dressage.

GFS Olympia
 Ahorn x Dolanda (Ultimo/Wellington)
Bay Filly to make 16.2hh

RETAINED

004-_2330681.JPG

Sometimes champions are made and sometimes they are born!

All I can say is that in over twenty years of breeding, I have absolutely no doubt that this filly has something so special about her.

Olympia was born with attitude, she knew she was special from her first breath and she has not stopped reminding us all!

Our original trepidation that she was going to be a little devil was quickly dispelled as she is the most charming, sociable and gentle soul.  She is frighteningly intelligent and it sometimes feels that she has been here before.  Every lesson taught is one remembered; she loves attention which has made everything so easy to teach her and so obliging.

She is bold, very brave and highly motivated to be the best, the fastest and the smartest when enjoying the foal games with her friends.  She is vocal, bossy and demanding of recognition whilst always maintaining a kind attitude, a sensible approach and a big sense of humour.

I have no doubt this filly will be heading to the top of sport when her time comes,  her breeding is exceptional and her future is looking very bright.

We are asking serious money for this incredible foal and should she not find her perfect home, she will stay until either she does or we have her produced ourselves and put our money where our mouth is!

A little about the breeding

T

This filly is absolutely extraordinary.  Aside from her phenomenal breeding which can never be replicated and is of exceptional providence in terms of world class performance and bloodlines that ensure the solid genetic factors requisite for the most serious competitive potential.

GFS Olympia was conceived using 30 year old frozen semen from a stallion whose performance record and that of his offspring are without question of world class quality.  With an excellent dam line and of a mare who has nothing left to prove having demontrated consistency and ability in the arena, this filly is an exciting prospect on her bloodlines alone.

There is more to this filly though than just a paperchase of remarkable ancestry.  Olympia was different from the moment she was born; angrily kicking her way free of the birth canal, this young lady wasted no time in getting to her feet and working things out in record time and with an indomitable attitude!

With no doubt this filly is full of character, confidence and self belief.  She is fiesty, friendly and full of the joie de vie that makes her such fun to interact with.  Olympia is a born athlete with a strong and powerful physique, she moves with great purpose and graceful balance at all times, she is also a natural jumper and spends a great deal of her time practicing exhuberant airs above the ground.

We are absolutely happy and prepared to keep this fill until three or to produce ourselves But, she is available to a serious home looking for a potential GP and beyond prospect...

Ahorn is descended from the famous Holstein family 242, and is related to Joost, Alcatraz and Locarno. His mother produced 4 approved stallions, and so far, 3 international showjumpers. Ahorn competed at the top international level, consistently placing in World Cups and Grand Prix competition. He represented the Netherlands in Nation's Cup competitions and was short-listed for the Barcelona Olympics, which earned him the prefix 'Olympic'.

Ahorn's offspring perpetuate their sire's success, with a large number competing at international level. Ian Millar's Grand Prix jumper, Promise Me's damsire is also Olympic Ahorn. Olympic Ahorn is also the sire of Feizal (Mario Deslauriers), Eurocommerce Geneve (10th at the 200d World Cup Final) and Iron, who represented Italy in the 2000 Olympic games.

Ahorn is a fantastic producer of broodmares. He is the sire of European Champion mare Helena, reserve European Champion Korenbloem, Dutch Champion mare Haciende, Firette who was a 5-time UTV qualifier, and Geminka keur who is the dam of Dutch dressage star Kelvin. At the 1996 World Championships for young horses at Lanaken, Ahorn was the only KWPN stallion to have two progeny placed. He is also the sire of Neckar, the top priced horse at the 1998 Equilibra Challenge auction.

As well as top competition horses, Ahorn has produced 8 graded sons. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to Dutch breeding, Ahorn has been awarded Preferent status by the KWPN.

Dolanda the dam of this foal is an eleven year old retired International Grade A show jumper with winnings in excess of £22,000 having jumped consistently up to 1.40. On the Sunshine Tour she won ten out of her twelve classes.

Dolly is a real powerhouse and a force of nature to behold when she steams across the paddocks her feet literally barely only touch the ground to propel her! As well as her phenomenal jump, bravery and balance, Dolanda moves with exceptional expression with paces that would easily mark her as a horse with real potential between the dressage boards if she hadn't been produced as a show jumper. She is a real heart and soul horse, she is not only beautiful but is equally blessed with an incredible temperament, this mare is a delight in every way and a very significant addition to our future plans. We adore her.

Sired by Ultimo (Phin Phin/Burggraaf) and out of a Wellington - Nimmerdor dam. This is a sire who remains high on the index despite not having sired large numbers before being sold to China. He had great success at 1.45 and 1.50 in Austria.

His sire Phin Phin, son of Olympian Chin Chin was a GP stallion with numerous international wins at both 1.50 and 1.60.

Her dam is by Wellington, his dam Patty is by the famed thoroughbred Lucky Boy and is also the G.dam of our own Wantasia! He competed up to Z level in dressage as well as having national success jumping at 1.30.

This foal is anticipated with a real sense of excitement, it will almost certainly be one, if not the last Olympic Ahorn foals ever born as his semen was collected thirty years ago.  Whether it be a filly or a colt, this foal will be destined for great things..........
